Hip hop at its best is really an amazing genre. Indie rap is a little rare right now, but its lack of inclusivity is probably the reason.

A lot of rappers are making one-dimensional music, but they're highly influenced by their powerful producers.

I would love music that was kinder and more universal, but how is diversity received among gospel rapper audiences right now?

A long time ago, we were told that RapIndie was teaching cherry picking. We decided to give less prolific artists more shine to offset doing that. Now, we've learned that cherry picking isn't caused by our example but is simply an organic issue that is a little more complex than elitism.
We love hip hop culture. However, you can tell when a song has alienated its other markets. It doesn't require a phd to write music that other cultures can enjoy. Country music really isn't that complicated.

Another problem is, because the internet has become more of a business, the richest artists are wildly more popular than the talented artists. The cultures that produce the fastest money are the only ones being heard.

We have a responsibility to carefully consider the impact of the music we promote, and we don't take that lightly.

Lyrical Lemonade is a music production website that focuses on modern and universal hip hop. Lyrical Lemonade has created some of the best rap music videos in recent years. This album is perfect for audiences that may be a little sensitive to hip hop music. These are really good songs, but they may be a little soft for rap aficionados. "All Is Yellow" is good, but not great considering the DJ Khaled reminiscent amount of features. There are some really interesting collaborations that Lyrical Lemonade magically put together. This is a good introduction to the culture. Lyrical Lemonade has produced some rappers' most universal moments, but this album doesn't reflect that. Aside from fantastic instrumentals and presentation, it's a little underwhelming at times. Despite that, this piece may be the start of the next generation of XXL, We The Best, etc.
