It's pretty hard for mainstream America to condone the glorification of thug conduct present in much of hip hop. The context of "undefined yet absolute" hate needs to do it. Is hip hop's aggression unnecessary?
In 2023, there is a consensus that humanity simply isn't able to connect with people that are different than them or simply that their connection is proportional to their amount of similarity. The acts that defy this expectation are rare and usually form organically. RapIndie prides itself on creating cross-over markets of all kinds. Some may ask "why"?

It may simply be an empathy for artists that the world wants to box into stereotypes or exclude.

It may be a preference for innovation and open-mindedness.

Maybe it's good for business to have influence in all markets.

Merging blog culture and hip hop culture demands artists that can bridge that audience gap, which is rare; but always a welcome experience.
Baby Keem has been on the scene for a while since his debut with Kendrick Lamar. This album was hypeless and by far... underrated. Baby Keem is not only talented, he's incredibly consistent. Every feature he brings creativity, emotional lyrics, and simplistic complexity. He's even an interesting person despite being indisputably African American and rapper-esque. The only thing about Baby Keem's music that holds it back from commercial appeal is his lack of focus on commercial appeal. Baby Keem is extremely talented and rap fans of all kinds should be ready for his next album.

Always question unified opinions. It's a scary world with people that can't think for themselves. RapIndie is a mix of cultures so we get a mix of reactions.

It draws people that either can't or won't fully embrace the genre. Entertaining them is wise, but it's not the primary objective. The people that come to support are the ones we're going to focus on creating for.
