We appreciate constructive criticism very much. You can't improve without it. However, in 2022; the feedback has gotten really strange.

RapIndie is a hip hop blog so if it's not "funky" what's the point?

If clines are what define evolution, why do you care how ghetto an artist is?

It's ok to have unconditional hate for a culture, but if it's unconditional, why pretend it's got anything to do with us?

BROCKHAMPTON is a rap group from San Marcos, Texas. In the landscape of hip hop, they have always been refreshingly different. TM is a very interesting album. It's experimental, but it isn't trying to distance itself from an urban aesthetic. It's nearly rnb at times, and nearly electronica at others, but it's consistently well-produced. BROCKHAMPTON has a lot of talented individual members, but they're collaborative brand is so strong that it's nice to see them back together on this project.

Save the rarest genes for the sake of future generations!

In the world of hip hop, the aesthetic has become more important than the bars.

There are many types of haters. Not all of them are scientists or scholars. Not all of them want world peace. The irony is drill rap probably resonates a little to the same radicals that condemn it. They are spreading it after all…

Drake and 21 Savage made a collaboration album. Although Drake is a fantastic musician, the rap game has shifted toward a community and culture rather than just a tempo and lyricism style. Rappers like Drake and Eminem are starting to get worried about their legacies, but it's not necessary. When people over-glorify authentic cultural rappers, they know what they're doing. This album has some throw-back Take Care moments that work really well with 21 Savage's style. The surprising thing is 21 actually comes comedically hard and even though he's not as talented as Drake, he's having more fun and keeps up with the goat the whole album.
