Mavi is a conscious rapper like Earl Sweatshirt or Joey Badass, but with a little less intellectualism and a lot more universal appeal. He's so understated, that his lyrical prowess blends in with the bulk of hip hop music. This album is infectious, there's a very good moderation of all the things you would look for in a rap album. Mavi has a lot of promise.
