However, his lack of experience gave him an originality that led to his own style. Playboi Carti is a character and a brand first and a musician second. His confidence is mind-blowing but refreshing. This album sounds like he's been practicing and focusing on quality. The breakdowns have a growl that is more universal than screaming but just as lit. The collaborations he pulled off and production value make it seem like Carti is going to be very prominent on hip hop's forefront this year. Good job Carti.
