Quality Control

Part of representing a culture is allowing others to shape it however they see fit. RapIndie needs to avoid facilitating an idealized representation of hip hop culture. If all the benefactors like artists that don't intimidate them, RapIndie should reflect that. If the audiences want to relate more than they want to be impressed; again, RapIndie should reflect that.

We may be the only platform that believes that trying to make people less critical by force-feeding mediocrity will save less lives than building sincere interest. Hip hop is a shared culture which needs to reflect more than one person's vision. The over-achievers need to fund themselves, the innovative artists need to generate enough interest to be successful on their own, or maybe they need to connect better with business entities. The rap game of 2020 should feel like RapIndie.com and vice versa.
