New Black

People are habitual. They like convenience and instant gratification. RapIndie in it's origin, showcased suburban hip hop in a public display that people expected to change culture. In some ways it did. The specific artists involved were embraced. Whether or not RapIndie can take credit for that is arguable.
People are very comfortable with the system and after watching the 100's of valid reasons to let go of racism be crassly ignored, people no longer had hope for change. It falls upon us. The problem is the people that made negative changes just did it and the people that had good intentions didn't fight back. Those with conquest in their nature have been used and depleted and it is the peaceful that now determine social structure.
