2 Chainz, Offset & YG Sued For Jacking "Proud" Song - Urban Islandz
There are social questions that no one takes the time to ask. Articulation. Is it genetic? I consider the lack of articulation to be an urban dialect because there are many rappers that segway in and out of using it. In the hood, they call it a white voice and discourage articulation. On the other hand, hood-origin Caucasian American rappers like Eminem are usually still very articulate.

One of the weakest aspects of urban culture, is the glorification of ignorance. Intellectualism and love for urban culture clash so much that a Harvard graduate with an urban dialect seems almost impossible. Could the suburban community learn or pick up the urban dialect to represent it's cultural rather than genetic origin? Could urban rappers put their pride aside and use their "white voice?"
