The Message of RapIndie

RapIndie was created on January 1st 2013. Initially it was a collection of my favorite music, and I was fairly suburban, so it happened to be all the rappers that were trying to appeal to hipsters.

Socially, it was a bridge for all the people that were waiting for a "future of equality". Elders were indoctrinating the youth, but the youth had seen so much prolifically contradictory content that it wasn't taking root.

In 2021, we no longer predict a future of inclusivity. In fact, RapIndie has become evidence of how passionate people are in preserving inherent hierarchy. Without the prediction of inclusion, the same intellectualism that brought people together, has simply become a liability and an obsessive rivalry.

Now we've seen how socially powerful communal vanity can be. African American artists tend to lose their ethnic support if they are too intellectual, and the plan is to make a community that doesn't force them to have to choose.
