Kanye finally releases his heavily teased passion-project Donda. Kanye is a prolific producer, a mesmerizing persona, and the archetype of what a rapper is to our generation. Donda is emotional, it's beautiful like a painting. It feels like a painting in audio form. The features seem more like gifts to the rappers than improvements to the songs. There isn't a lot of punchlines or hooks, but the lyrics are good and consistent. Jesus Lord has one of Kanye's best instrumentals. This lives up to the hype like all of Kanye's albums.
